He's not exactly a hidden gem, but Pete Carroll said he thinks defensive lineman Nick Perry was not rated high enough by recruiting services because he did not get a lot of attention at King High School in Detroit. Now he is ranked the 56th-best player in the country by Rivals, but Carroll said he should be higher.

Carroll has put together yet another solid and consistent recruiting class. Although this year's class has not received the usual glitz and glamour of past classes, I feel that SC should be in the top 5 of recruiting, at the least, top 10. Fight on!!!
