About the scout team
Mark Sanchez made an interesting observation today about playing on a scout team, something he and Mitch Mustain (and Aaron Corp) all did in their career.
``On the scout team you develop bad habits,'' Sanchez said. ``because they make you throw the ball to give the defense reps. You have to throw it no matter what to the circled receiver or you have to run.''

Gee, what a big surprise, Sanchez made a derogatory comment about the scout team QB. I couldn't possibly imagine why... He is so transparent.
His comment was about the scout team in general. He didn't single out anyone. It isn't derogatory, just fact.
Well, being a scout team quarterback has its limitations, and Sanchez described one. However, the quarterback can say to himself, "This guy is not open but I have been instructed to throw to him anyway." That way a bad habit has not been formed.
But probably easier said than done.

Did you understand what LJ and AT say? Another quick trigger blinded by a simple Sánchez comment. What the hell did you learn at USC?
LJ, I doubt that when a qb is out there, he has time to rationalize to himself. He just does what he's told. When coach says jump, he doesn't ask how high. He just jumps.
