Almost teammates

When O.J.Mayo was a junior in high school and told USC ``off the record'' that he was committing, he said he would bring forward Bill Walker with him. At the time, a coach compared Walker to Vince Carter and said he might even be better than Mayo.
Well, that was before Walker was declared ineligible for his senior year, enrolled at Kansas State but had to sit out the start of the season and then tore knee ligaments. Still, he is Kansas State's second-leading scorer entering today's game with the Trojans.
