I was asked last week about how to rank athletic directors. Well, here's a novel way to become an instant successful hire.
``Oregon director of athletics Pat Kilkenny and his wife, Stephanie, are giving $1 million to academic programs at the university. An additional $500,000 will go to academics this year and next, as Kilkenny has declined his salary.''
Of course you leave out the fact that Oregon's AD was and is one of their biggest boosters. Not sure if that is the example you wanted after all Scott.
