Pete Carroll told me four different times he hit three homers in batting practice at the Coliseum (including back-to-back), so it must mean it's important. Maybe he can play for the USC baseball team, which got swept by Arizona State over the weekend and lost 10 of its past 12 games.
You know if the Dodgers offered him the $8 million the Redskins supposedly did, Caesar would be so outa here. The question though is whether he can field. Shame the NL doesn't have the DH.
