St. Mary's Randy Bennett, Stanford's Trent Johnson and Pittsburgh's Jamie Dixon are being mentioned as candidates for the Cal basketball job.

what the !@#$ would anyone see in that job? They won a title in 1959 - I think I've heard it was the last all white team to win it. Johnson and Dixon? It would be a huge step down for either.

I agree Stanford and Pitt are both better jobs than Cal. Cal certainly thinks highly of themselves if they think they can pull coaches from those programs.

If you're gonna aim high Cal why not just aim for the absurd.
Coach K? Ben Howland? Dean Smith? Phil Jackson?
