USC kept Arizona State without a field goal for more than nine minutes and outrebounded the Sun Devils, the seventh straight game in which the Trojans won that stat. Daniel Hackett and Taj Gibson's defense on James Harden was also a key.
``Daniel and Taj did a great job on the screen and rolls with Harden,'' O.J. Mayo said. ``We knew he liked to go to his left a lot.''
This is a big weekend for Mayo. There are 42 NBA scouts and general managers attending the tournament.

O.K., tomorrow night for the City Championship. ucla is not going to win anything this year. So the rubber match for the City is as good as it is going to get this year for them.
