Quarterback update

Another one of those mixed days for the quarterbacks, as they dealt with a live-pass rush in full pads and experienced problems dealing with the blitz.
The practice ended with Mitch Mustain throwing about a 45-yard touchdown pass to Ronald Johnson. However, Johnson was so far behind the secondary, he looked like a punt returner waiting to catch the ball, which was high and short, but still catchable.
``It was an ugly throw,'' Mustain said. ``I felt like we made some Day 1 mistakes. That was frustrating.''
