yeah well he better get them ready for the dog show pretty quick, ohio st. Virginia and Oregon don't want to hear excuses about "breaking in a new offensive line"
odowd already started a bunch of games byers has been here for what, 8 years? and Butch has started games too..they don't have too much room for excuses anyway..and watching heberer get pushed around by Idaho last year really made me cringe..let's face it Stanford blew lots of these guys off the line....
thinking about it, this USC team will have the biggest disparity between talent and production in the history of college football..you got numerous #1 overall at positions like odowd turner hazelton mcknight sanchez byers, lots' of #2's like S. Johnson and ausberry, tons of other top shelf talent like ronald johnson and marc tyler and havili, and we will be lucky to get 18 points per game. Our offense will be even worse than last year, because we don't have fred davis to dump it off to. That's how we Oregon beat us..they double covered FD and that was the end of the USC offense.
with stone hands #1 and stone hands #2 turner and hazelton, "I have to finish my routes??" ausberry and havili the fumble machine, our passing game will rank around #111 in the country. and with a weakened offensive line, there will be no holes for mcknight or johnson...
