Is this O.J. Mayo's final home game?
``No comment,'' Mayo said after Friday's practice.
Meanwhile, center RouSean Cromwell's swollen left knee is no better and he is not expected to play.

OJ got exactly what he wanted out of USC. Exposure. OJ is done using USC and now he's off to "git payeeed". Mayo never gave a rats ass about USC Basketball. Track him down in five years and see if he will even remember playing for the Trojans.

I strongly disagree with you and your comments are out of line. He helped to elevate the USC BKB program. Compare last year's attendance figures VS this year.
OJ Mayo could have gone to ANY college in the nation. Be thankful he chose USC. USC BKB program is on the map and whether you care to accept it or not Mayo deserves credit for that.
Thank you

O.J. showed nothing but class this year, and it was noticed by even the bias westwood fans. He never complained to the referees about bad calls, was a good interview, played energetic defense (even when his shot was not there), and took the blame after his poor performance in the second ucla game.
Oh yeah, he also might lead the league in scoring average, and without him Troy would be playing in the NIT.
He also said that he will finish up his spring SC classes because it is the right thing to do.
He looks as if he would be a lottery pick (top-10) and might go as high as No. 6. That means about a $10 million guaranteed contract. Can't blame him for being a business man. But I will always remember him as being a class act, a true Trojan.
Godspeed, O.J., and take us to the Sweet 16 (and perhaps beyond).

I predict he will shock the world and come back with the intention of leading the Trojans to a Pac-10 title next year. But, I will not make a money bet on this. Just a hunch. OJ is an outstanding young man. Almost hard to believe that his hyped existence hasn't completely warped him, but it doesn't appear to have. Great, great kid. 1 more year, OJ!

'89 - truly one of the dumbest comments ever. Mayo doesn't "owe" USC anything. USC and Coach Floyd knew exactly what they were getting, and he delivered - with class and style. Not only did he produce, but he elevated the play of his teammates, and put 'SC basketball on the national radar, which will continue to help the program in the following years.
Like most students, he came to 'SC as a stepping stone to his profession and financial rewards. In his case, it is the NBA. I hope that he "used" USC, because it certainly "used" him for its goals.

Best of luck to him in the pros.

antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
