USC guard O.J. Mayo missed classes on Monday and Tuesday. Why is it worth noting? Because Mayo (and Davon Jefferson) need to pass six units this semester to be considered in ``good standing'' by the NCAA if they turn pro early. Otherwise, USC's APR score will suffer and could lead to a scholarship reduction.
