Enough already about Gillespie! It's great that he is doing well. Maybe got mistreated by SC...Let it go. Sounds like you have a mancrush on him!

SW, Gillespie is doing a great job at Anteater hill, but it’s not like he walked in to a program that was running empty. Coach "G" is a hell of a skip and will always be, but if he had taken the direction that Horton-hears-who has done, up at Oregon Duck-soup, do you think that he would be having the same success in up the fog, as he is having with the Irvine auto group? Very doubtful. Fight On!

I was under the impression that he retired so what really happened then?

Yeah, weren't the Eaters in the CWS last year? They SHOULD be winning. Coach Gillespie was at the helm for a NC as well as at the helm for the drop to mediocrity. We can't hold him in high regard for one without mentioning the other. Let's see what Irvine looks like in a couple years before we write the book on Coach Gillespie.
