What will happen to the players who did not get drafted, like Desmond Reed? Do they go on to play in AFL, CFL, or possibly approach Vince McMahon to start the XFL up again?

Not that there is no recruiting in May, what are Pete's next best options to recruit top players in person?

Why are scholarship reductions and the cost of USC as a private institution being used as excuses for why the baseball team has hit an all-time low, when other private schools -- such as Rice, Vanderbilt and Stanford -- are all currently highly ranked in the national polls? Their tuition costs are similar to that of USC, so is it not inherently flawed to say that USC's baseball team is now suffering due to the costs that come from awarding partial scholarships at a private university when other similar institutions are not suffering the same fate?

Do you think New England drafting a quarterback will affect my prediction that Matt Cassel will have a longer career than Matt Leinart?

You mentioned Hershel Dennis may end up in Pittsburgh. Have you heard anything about other Trojans signing with teams or being invited to a mini-camp?

I don't remember Havili playing at the April 19th scrimmage. Is he hurt?

Are the rumors true that Sanchez was named the starter (for the time being, at least) during spring training because the coaches wanted someone to run voluntary summer drills?

Ellis, Rivers, and Davis all helped themselves by staying an extra year. What are the chances players like Taylor Mays and Shareece Wright continue to stay in school after the success of this year's draft?

Watching the draft, the NFL Network people mentioned that Radovich had "some off the field issues recently" and that was the reason he hadn't been drafted. gbnreport.com also lists him as having off-field issues (http://www.gbnreport.com/updatedtop100.html). Any idea what these are, and did they occur recently like they said. Seems like really poor timing on his part to do something stupid so close to the draft.

About Inside USC

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
