About Inside USC
Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC
graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for
the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet
message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this
moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in
antagonizing the "Internet geeks."

A one tailback rotation is an oxymoron.
Tough one. Not sure there really is a right answer. With CJ health and supposedly running well, and Allen having an awesome spring, how do you not rotate Stafon, CJ AND Allen, and use Joe liberally as the versatile RB at WR, 3rd down back, etc. Looks like a 4 back rotation to me. I can't wait to see Brod and Tyler, but with their youth, they will be fine just seeing mop up duty. CJ, Stafon, and Allen are all 3 different styles, so while no back will be able to get into a 25 carry rhythm, they will constantly keep the Def off guard. And, it sounds like we will be giving Joe Mc lots of touches, so he should have a huge year. Not sure if I have ever seen a 4 back rotation before, but I don't know how you cut one of these 4 guys out while healthy. Of course, odds are, someone will get hurt and we'll have a 2 or 3 back rotation for many games.
