Dept. of worthless information

I almost decided not to include a link to this article, but I didn't think anyone would believe that a 2009 mock draft would have Rey Maualuga as just the No. 31 pick and just the third USC player selected. If only they saw the NFL scouts and coaches at Pro Day that wished Maualuga came out this year.

As Obie-won Wolfeee has taught us, do not put stock in the dark side of the force. Besides, the Over-rated Chargers as the Super Bowl runner-ups... PLEASE, that's like saying Jabba-the-Weis will lead the sisters of over-rated from South Bend to the BCS mountain top. Fight On!

Moala gets picked before Cush and Rey? Are you kidding me.

Ohio St. must be the best Football team ever to have like 3 of the first 4 guys picked?

Sure hope we live through that game this year

Totally agree, kptrojan. There's never been a coach or a scout who would lie to a reporter now, has there? Have the guy SAY IT ON THE RECORD with his name/attribution so that it actually might mean something worth reading.

As Wolfie's own post here says, this blog is becoming the Dept. of Worthless Information. What's next, updates on the daily Soap Opera dramas?

...well, everyone says Rey is just too passive and lacks that killer instinct.

Troyjan&Tonic said:

Rey backs down too much at parties and is afraid to hit Quarterbacks trying to get out of bounds. In addition, he has no motor and is often lacking emotion.

I stopped reading after I saw that Moala was the first Trojan off the board.

I would be shocked if he was even a 1st rounder. Mays, Cush and Maualuga would all go before Moala...someone didn't do their research.

"rey rey" blows coverages, doesn't mind his gap, and goes around head hunting instead of playing line backer...he's alot of tattoos and smoke and mirrors..he will be a good second string LB for blitz situations..anyone see him get yanked in the stanford game after he covered the wrong gap AGAIN?

About Inside USC

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
