Petros has a job to do - that job is to be a loudmouth jerkoff. Of course he's going to say that the team leader in tackles for the last two years is overrated. It gets people talking about Petros. He doesn't want to fade into obscurity, and the only thing people know about him is that he's constantly saying negative things about his alma matre. I guess the ends justify the means.

Petros is loud, but he is also smart and at times pretty funny, although I liked him better when he was solo on the radio. Regarding Rivers, I thought the flap with him was that he was an underachiever, but that he changed that rep with his performance last season.

Petros is right on about Rivers. The guy was extremely solid at USC but never lived up to the hype when he initially came to USC. He was a very good college LB but rarely made big plays. Mel Kiper even mentioned this during the draft. He's solid but not spectacular. When you wanna wear 55 at USC, you better be spectacular.
