More Jefferson

We've comfirmed that forward Davon Jefferson did hire agent Arn Tellem to represent him.
That speaks volumes about his mindset about getting out of USC, if he doesn't even want to see what happens between now and the draft. Even Kevin Love is smart enough to wait. And he might end up with Tellem too in the end.
One postive note: Jefferson was going to class through last week.

This trend of "One and Done" could destroy college basketball. Its not good for anyone involved, including the kids. The NCAA and NBA need to work out some agreement that at least discourages kids from enrolling in college with no intent of staying beyond their freshman year. If they don't care about getting an education, then don't force them into college. The NBA is turning Div 1 BB into their farm league for a "free" source of talent, so they need to set up rules that make sense for all involved. For example, the NBA could require all of its teams to have a developmental team and in an NBA run league for HS grads and young players to go straight to and bypass college.

About Inside USC

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
