Look at Kansas with all their upper class. The one and done is worth it when you have a solid foundation of players and you bring in a one year player to put you over the top. Like Love at UCLA.

Nothing can be proven until the end of next season. Until then it's just speculation one way of the other.

Transformed in to what? A place where 21, 22, 23, 24 year old freshmen come to play college basketball? I guess so...

The answer is no.

Harold Miner looked as if he would be the ground-breaking player in the early 90s, but there was no follow up with quality players.

Sam Clancy and his gang, with an Elite-8 appearance in the early '00s, was thought to be the beginning of a new SC basketball era. But it was not, and Bibby was let go.

Now, we have a coach and a great arena. And this coach says the true test of a program is continuity, not one-year wonders. I think he will lead us to the promised land. There is no reason why SC cannot go to some Final-4s in the next decade or two, and maybe even win the entire enchilada occasionally.

Enchiladas? Now you’ve piqued my interest LJ! What kind, Rojas, Verdes, or Suizas?

Crazyweed:

If SC ever wins a national title, and we are still alive, I will buy you and your entire family, cousins included, all the enchiladas you all can eat.

Lawyer John, your offer seems open ended ... "If SC ever wins a national title...."

Locoweed's cousins will be feasting on enchiladas, while SC's men's tennis team is celebrating a Nat'l Championship in late May.

LJ, I just hired Mike as my lawyer. The Locos will be camped out in front of El Cholo, so you'd better bring your Platinum Card. We like our Margaritas on the rocks and with plenty of salt on the rim please! Tennis anyone?

uscmike Author Profile Page said:

Loco- You got it! I'll just take a percentage of the enchiladas and margaritas as my fee.

Fight On!

LAWYER JOHN Author Profile Page said:

I could never keep up with uscmike alone, let alone the partnership of uscmike and Crazyweed.

That said, they caught me in a legal ambiguity which I could never extricate myself.

So, as a compromised settlement, I agree to give anything Crazyweed demands, within certain limitations, when SC wins its next championship.

I always strive to keep my clients, and future clients, happy!
