Round 3

Quite an eclectic array of topics here.

Q: As a follow up to the Leinart question, in light of your earlier "confession" that "You've discovered my secret. I've secretly been out on the town with Leinart all this time but to cover it up, we pretended to be at odds. It almost worked," was that you who took the photo of Matt holding the beer bong? Did he use a cheap domestic beer or a fancy import? ;-)

A: Yes, I took the photo. And it was a cheap domestic beer. It flows quicker through the beer bong.

Q: Ok, a chance for Scott to offer a rebuke of the media "story-maker" hype re: Mattie today. Scott, do you agree that Matt was raped by tabloid journalism today for essentially doing nothing wrong....at his home drinking beers with college girls during the OFF-SEASON, exceedingly normal behavior for a 25-year old male. He wasn't doing drugs, driving drunk, engaged in violence, just a harmless and responsible shindig at his PRIVATE RESIDENCE during the OFF-SEASON. Do you agree that he was smeared by the paps, and that ESPN has essentially dropped down to tabloid status to create a story here where none should have existed, especially in light of the weekly off-season ARRESTS of other NFL players?

A: All good points, except for the fact Leinart also craves endorsements and this does not help in that dept.

Q: Any idea what happened to the USC Men's Swim Team this year? The worst team in history by far. Did Mark Schubert leave the cupboard bare for Dave Salo, or was there some extra drama? Looking at the rosters, there were several underclassmen from last season who did not return. I'm surprised you missed an opportunity to pounce on something negative happening at USC.

A: You ask me for information and criticize me at the same time? Talk about being a tad hypocritical. Of course we know the answer, but men’s swimming is so irrelevant, I decided not to ``pounce.’’ Not as irrelevant as men’s volleyball, but irrelevant.
Anyways, there’s been a lot of dissension within the swimming program and a rocky relationship between coach Dave Salo and many swimmers, male and female. A lot of swimmers have quit. He was previously a club coach and dealing with 18-22 year olds is tough when you usually coach children.

Q: At El Cholo which of the following do you prefer?
a) Sonora Style Enchilada (1923) (First Enchilada Served at El Cholo)
Layerd Corn Tortillas, Savory Chicken simmered in a Tomato, Onion, Cilantro Broth, & Cheese, topped with Olives and a Fried Egg.
b) Enchilada Suiza (1976) Breast of Chicken, in a Light Salsa Verde, Sour Cream, Beans and Rice.
c) No. 6 Combination. Choice of One: Cheese Enchilada, Beef Taco, Chile Relleno or Tamale.
The Suizas are sweeet!
Thank you.

A: I think I’ll go with the No. 6 combination, no fried eggs or sour cream for me, thanks.
