Sanchez similarity
I usually discount spring scrimmage stats. Even Matt Leinart put up some poor numbers in these exercises. But I noticed Mark Sanchez's numbers the first two scrimmages are nearly identical.
Last week: 9-15 106 yards 0 TD 0 INT
This week: 9-17 97 yards 0 TD 1 INT
It could be the coaches are keeping the offense conservative with a new quarterback. Or maybe USC's offense will be solid but not spectacular next season.

Or, maybe we have a stellar defense, a brand new O-line, and the offense always starts out slower than the defense. Have you been counting the sacks and QB pressures? Those guys are not getting much time back there. Their numbers are probably better than any of our QB opponents will post against our D this year.
Well Scott, I am not defending bonehead, but with "stone hands" Turner and Vidal "I haven't been open since 2005" Hazelton, there isn't much he can do.
That's what the game stats are gonna look like, too...hope our running game and D can carry us or it's gonna be a long year..
Not to sound like the optimist here, but despite its woes, the Trojans did win the Pac-10, the Rose Bowl, beat Notre Dame and UCLA...let's get a little perspective here. The glass is half full. An undefeated season really is an extreme blessing. Turner and Vidal will do fine...
