Surprise appearance

After a quiet spring, wide receiver Brandon Carswell showed why he was a scout-team sensation last fall with his 55-yard touchdown reception that pretty much him running all the way across the field and past the defense.
Then again, if you follow coachspeak, it happened against the second-team defense. Or does that only matter when it's the quarterback?
