The Saban rule

The rule that prevents football coaches from going out on the road recruiting in the spring is a big nuisance to USC coach Pete Carroll, but I wouldn't call it the The Carroll Rule. We hear the rule was actually pushed by SEC coaches, unhappy with some of Alabama coach Nick Saban's recruiting methods.
