We checked again today and hear forward Davon Jefferson intends to pro. We first wrote this a couple weeks ago. This is not an official decision but we want to let you know where things stand right now.

No surprise here since Jefferson is bound to end up in academic trouble. If Gibson stays it will make him the undisputed leader of this team; fat chance… he’s outta here too.
Floyd had better start planning a trip to Cameroon.
Pro? Fat chance.
If he does not return it will be because of academics (read Pruitt).
The alternative will obviously be out of the country.
If he is gone, one less problem for Floyd to deal with, who is going to have to gird his loins for one of the projected recruits next season.
We have no problem. There is always Little Romeo to save our bacon.
In any event, all is speculative. We won't know caca until sometime around mid-summer.

I am so sick of these buttwipes leaving early..AND EVERYONE WONDERS WHY WE ARE CALLED "A FOOTBALL FACTORY"
It's because all out guys go pro after 1 or 2 years..or maybe (max) 3...
Someone at the University has to step in and stop this...OJ Mayo 1 year, Dwayne Jarrett 2 years..PC had to force Bush to stay for 3 years...We are becoming a embarrasment in sports..the #1 guy in his position comes to USC because it's a big name school for 1 or 2 years and is gone..
is that how we want people to think of us???

"PC had to force Bush to stay for 3 years." Actually, Reggie stayed 3 years because that is the rule imposed by the NFL. (Remember the whole Maurice Clarett-Mike Williams saga of trying to leave college early for the NFL?)
If your gonna make points about people leaving early know what your writing. Jarrett was at SC for 3 years. Just like USCmike said the rule is you have to be out of high school for 3 years to turn pro in football. And don't get on OJ for leaving. The guy is guaranteed a top 10 puck, and millions in the pocket. Why risk injury? Now Davon, that is a whole differnet story. If him and Gibson leave they are stupid and will be overseas within three years.
Now just make sure you know what your writing before posting it. Don't want the SC fans sounding as stupid as the guys on insidesocal.com/ucla!
