Answer Monday, Part 3

So far, so good on the server front.

Q: Numerous media outlets, as well as the NFL Network, have reported that Drew Radovich was not drafted by an NFL team due to "character concerns" and "off the field issues." Are you able to elaborate on what these issues may have been?

A: I have heard about off the field issues for a USC player but not involving Drew Radovich. He was not someone who got into trouble at USC so I'm not sure what the NFL Network was referring to.

Q: Any signs at all that Reggie Bush will settle with L. Lake?

A: Not yet but June could change things with depostions scheduled to actually take place. Bush has been adamant about not settling, so far.

Q: When are you going to stick a fork in this blog software/server?

A: If I were in charge, a long time ago. The past few days have been better since we officially switched but the readers need to let me know if they have problems.

Q: Which is more likely to occur next season, and why?

1) USC wins Pac-10 and National Championship in football.

2) UCLA goes on probation because of Rick Neuheisel.

3) Scott Wolf gets promoted to soccer beat.

A: What a dilemma answering this one. I've said I don't think USC will win a national title without Norm Chow, I don't think Neuheisel is dumb enough to put UCLA on probation, so maybe the soccer beat is the most likely! Much to the chagrin of the Internet geeks!

I'm cautiously optimistic that we have the server/blog system under control now.

At this point, things are better than they've ever been in terms of functionality, and I expect that to continue.

Thanks to all of you for hanging in there while we made the transition to the new server AND newer version of the blog system software.

One thing about Scott, as I have often stated, he can dish it out, but he can also take it. So I guess he does not qualify as a bully.

Bush is never going to settle...Lake wants around $2.7 Million dollars to "settle" and reggie ain't paying it..Lake is a con artist who will probably be back 4 years later asking for another $2 million.
Bush only has so much money.

Reggie has done a (fairly) good job keeping USC clean and out of it. However, if Subpoenas start flying things could change. And that looks like where we are headed from what I have read. About the only thing we can hope for is the judge to toss the case (which it doesn't look like he is going to do reggie just asked him again) or some mistrial or REggie's lawyer can get some kind of gag order.

Obviously something wrong was going on...just hope it doesn't hurt USC.

Scott, interesting that you admit Neuheisel is dumb, just not "dumb enough to put UCLA on probation." I'd have to agree with you on that point, but Slick Rick bears a striking resemblance to one of the dudes in that "Dumb and Dumber" movie, which I'm sure is part of your DVD collection.

However, I must point out that the "Internet geeks" you refer to are the same geeks who love soccer, probably played AYSO and are convinced that futbol is the world's greatest sport. It's those same Internet geeks you speak of who urinate on walls at the soccer stadiums, deride a player for his ethnic heritage or the color of his skin, and riot in the stands and shoot or beat each other in public to show support for their teams. If that is the type of thing that you call "sport" then maybe we all would be better off seeing a different byline on the USC beat at the Daily News.

Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
