Answer Monday, Part 5
We're in full answer mode.
Q: Scott, how would you comment on the fact that I have been banned by the www.wearesc.com board because I defended this website and what is written on it? And how I told the people on there who post about how USC is going to win the next 45 games in a row that they are delusional?
A: Welcome to the club!
Q: What do you see Sark/PC doing if one of the WR's does not step up again this year? Fred Davis was the WR corps last year. A. McCoy is a stud but no experience..should we be preparing ourselves for 30 hands offs and 20 short dump offs to S. havili per game?
A: I think Joe McKnight's role will become even bigger. This is why McKnight was used so much at wide receiver during spring practice. It's a good insurance policy if no one emerges at wide receiver. Before he arrived, the coaches said McKnight would be USC's best wide receiver if he played the position full time. Kind of like using the shotgun more, which is a tacit admission that the offensive line might struggle next season.

Thanks Scott looks like I am in good company :o]
gotcha...yeah he has always been slotted for "the reggie bush role" of passes, punt returns and running back...
Thanks again Scott!!
As far as the Wearesc site I would say it is a great place for USC fans.
If you got "banned" it was for something more than defending SW. And your saying that, shows your true colors. And SW going along with you, shows his true colors as well.
There are some "elitist" SC fans that will trash people on that site for things uncalled for, but I found the Mods to be the best and they know the long time dudes there that carry "attitude" and take them with a grain of salt.
WeAreSC.com is definitely a good site. Garry P, Scott Schrader, Brian and everyone else provide great info. They do a really good job of keeping in contact with recruits and current players so they can provide trustworthy news without twisting a kid's words to fit their agenda.
It seems as though a lot of the devoted followers of this site simply loath fans who have high expectations. They also tend to have the same sense of moral and intellectual superiority. It's more of a smugness.
Then the "Sunshine Pumpers", as the "Whiny Little Pukes" like to call us, tend to be completely unrealistic and overly excited about the prospects of the team that we love. We generally respect the fact that the coaching staff has years of college coaching experience that we don't have, so we generally keep the arm-chair-quarterbacking to a minimum.
