Answer Monday, the sequel
Who knew O.J. Mayo turning pro would be a blessing in disguise for USC?
Q: Pedalgate vs. Walk-ongate. Which is the bigger scandal?
A: C'mon, no scandal is bigger than Pedalgate. It involves the special one.
Q: ESPN says mcknight might not finish his career at usc?
A: OK. ESPN also says it is the worldwide leader in sports. Any context to your statement would be helpful.
Q: Why did John David Booty drop in the draft was it because of his wonderlic test?
A: His score (14) was not helpful but Vince Young scored lower (11). If Booty were taller he would have been picked higher. And his senior year was not helpful. Remember he struggled right before he broke his finger and then needed time to get match-fit when he returned.
Q: Here is my preseason Top-10, 1.Ohio State 2.Georgia 3.Oklahoma 4. Florida 5. West Virginia 6. LSU 7. Missouri 8. Texas 9.USC 10.Virgina Tech and sleeper picks Texas Tech and Arizona State.
Also Notre Dame will bounce back next year with 9 wins. The pick to win it is Georgia beating Ohio State in the championship. Do you agree with my rankings, I feel USC has to replace many starters on defense and has many issues on offense such a young offense line, wide receivers, tight end, quarterback and no clear running back as number 1. The team is too young. I am a USC fan, but I am realistic in my picks. What is your thoughts on next year for USC and your top 10 including national champion pick?
A: I agree with many top 10's right now because I haven't studied too much. This on looks OK. USC will be ranked higher in the preseason polls but right now I feel the Trojans are in the 1-3 loss range. The offensive line is an issue, tight end should be fine with Anthony McCoy, quarterback will be interesting and the running backs are talented with Stafon Johnson No. 1. It's going to take a lot of improvement for Notre Dame to win nine games, and I don't know if that's possible, but the easy schedule is always helpful.

RE: McKnight not finishing his career at USC. He's referring to a Schlabach article in which he mentions McKnight not currently being eligible and somehow makes the connection that this means he won't stay at USC.
