Washington is up 4-1 in the fourth inning right now and if USC does not rally, it might be the loss that ends the Trojans' postseason hopes.
UPDATED: It's now 6-2 Washington in the fifth.
UPDATED AGAIN: Washington is up 7-2.
UPDATED AGAIN: It's 9-2 in the 8th.
UPDATED AGAIN: Washington wins 10-2 and USC's NCAA hopes are just about finished.
I have always been a USC baseball fan, and this season is really depressing for me (like the USC basketball team and football team).
I remember when the USC baseball team was THE college baseball team..producing players like dave kingman and tom seaver and mark mcgwire and barry zito..
Scott this was a lost hope, I think a bunch of 7th graders could beat the team we have now and their joke of a coach chad kreuter, who couldn't even win the starting catcher job on a crappy detroit tigers team. Definately, rock bottom. Ditto for the basketball team...all world all everything OJ Mayo and out in the first round..let's not forget that football loss vs. Stanford or the fact that if Dennis Dixon wouldn't of gotten hurt we would of been in the holiday bowl.
Oh well..
If Chad survives this season, it is time to march on Garrett's office and demand a change, meaning a new AD!
I used to be a manager of the baseball team way back when Rod was Coach, and SC baseball was Championship baseball - this current season is the bottom of the barrel. Related to Gillespie or not, the Kreuter MUST go.
