Hey Chad, worry about your sorry assed baseball team and less about what Scott Wolf writes about it. Maybe if you had better players or coached them better, you wouldn't have to worry about what is written about your sorry team.
Well, the reporting is quite unbalanced. Shocker. How about a post about the stud recruits that Kreuter has landed only to be lost to the early rounds of the MLB draft?
DFW, you bring up a valid point about losing stud recruits, but just look a little bit south of Troy, along the 57 Freeway and see what CSUF is continually doing. It is very reminiscent what of PC does, they reload instead of rebuild. With the history of Troy baseball, you would think that recruiting and keep top recruits would be easy? Where would you rather play, Dedeaux Field or Goodwin Field? I guess that actually is not a real easy question to answer. Fight On!
Well, Scott, when you were posting the baseball scores inning by inning, especially when SC was losing, it struck me that you were getting off when SC was losing. Maybe Coach saw the same thing I did.
WAAAAAAAAAAAAA. Big deal, he gets stud recruits that go early in the draft, happens to all the schools. WELL GET SOME DIAMONDS IN THE ROUGH AND DEVELOP THEM YOU POS, So Cal is FULL of baseball players for Christ sake. Geeez, can you RAH RAH's make any more excuses for this pathetic coach??
HAIL YOGI ROTH!
gotta be honest, not too concerned with what chad kreuter thinks...you do a bad job you get criticized. Happens at my job.
I just wish he would resign...our team is a joke..
Scott, did you take his cap?
Attention USC baseball fans. You could not beat UCLA during the season, but you can live vicariously through the CSUF Titans this weekend. There is a chance that CSUF will play the Bruins in the Fullerton regionals this weekend. Titan Nation will be glad to punch UCLA in the mouth for you. (On the diamond of course...)
Actualy Troyjan&Tonic USC beat ucla twice this year in baseball. They were 2-2 against them. Once again someone who makes comments without knowing what they are saying! But thanks Titan Nation.
What postseason tournament is USC baseball playing in this week with their 2 wins over UCLA? Is there an NIT version of the CWS regionals also?
I'm assuming UCLA finished higher in the PAC 10 which means the Bruins "beat" them. Not to mention the out of conference records.
I remember when USC baseball was defined by championships, not splitting series with rivals.
In 2 years Oregon will be better than USC and they don't even play yet.
CS Fullerton in Omaha baby!
Hey, Troyjan & Tonic:
Not very classy from you considering that most Trojans are rooting for your school. Our team may have been fairly lousy this year but we beat yours twice! What was the score at Goodwin field? 14-4!
I'll still root for Fullerton AND UCI in spite of you.
Like most of the people on this board, I could give a crap about Chad Kreuter's feelings, but it's funny to watch you in action Scott. You're much like a kid who pokes a dog with a stick and then looks around like you're completely innocent when the dog growls at you. You've been running this whole sarcastic/passive aggressive thing with Coach Kreuter for months now. How on Earth can you be surprised that he's not happy with you?
Come on Wolf, you're smarter than that (I think).
Yes, we all should unite in our mutual dislike for all things Bruin.
Just remmeber alot of those midweek games are like "friendlies" in that CSUF does not throw any of their best pitchers. As a possible NCAA bubble team, my guess is Kreuter was a lot more motivated to win those OOC matchups.
CSF must be very confident against Rider this FRI as Serrano is holding back all 3 top starters and evidently starting a kid who has not started all year.
If it works, Fullerton would have its top 3 fresh to eliminate Virginia and UCLA in the regional.
What if Rider pulls off the upset?
Maybe I should lower the rhetoric a little and just be grateful CSUF is good at one of the "major" sports.
Lets all hope USC can get its act together on the diamond and return to Pac 10 dominance.
Go navy and orange!
Go cardinal and gold!
Ok, I'm on the CSF bandwagon for the road to Omaha. Go Titans! Fullerton, not Tennessee!
I actually found out that CSUF has major pitching problems heading into the regionals tomorrow. Their Friday or #1 starter, Kaplan, got a piece of metal in his eye and is questionable for the weekend. Also their #2 or #3 starter has arm stiffness. Might be a tough weekend as Virginia is loaded and UCLA is also competitive. An otherwise easy win vs. Rider tomorrow is suddenly an adventure.
