Mayo bomb
Here's a detailed version of ESPN's story on O.J. Mayo. I'll have some observations later today. The story does not implicate USC in any wrongdoing, but an NCAA investigation will no doubt make that determination. And it's worth mentioning that Rodney Guillory, the person implicated in the ESPN story, was frequently in contact with USC coach Tim Floyd and other USC officials.

If the NCAA and the PAC-10 performed a complete investigation about Mayo before and during his time at 'SC (assuming 'SC's statement to this is true), then why would you say that an NCAA investigation would implicate 'SC?
Do you know something the first investigation didn't find? If so, why didn't you report it then?
Doesn't add up.

Chad Forde says that USC may suffer for this big time, Bush and Mayo have tarnished and hurt the image of USC Sports. Also will Garret and others be fired? Also what is the overall impact of these two superstars benefits on future recruitment?

I was thinking about Farmar and his failures in this Utah series too. Like all the Ben Howland Bruins, he absolutely tanks in the really big games.
