Here's some official word on the academic status of O.J. Mayo and Davon Jefferson.
``Our two underclassmen have honored their commitment and as long as they don't bomb finals, we expect them to meet their academic requirement,'' said USC associate athletic director Dr. Magdi El Shahawy, who is in charge of student-athlete academic services.
