About Inside USC
Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC
graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for
the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet
message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this
moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in
antagonizing the "Internet geeks."

Leave it up. Don't succumb to the peanut gallery! Stand up for our principles. That video was frkn hilarious, any other opinions are driven by jealousy and/or generation gap. Our program is fast-paced, challenging, and professional, yet fun and exciting. When you are king of the hill, everyone wants to bring you down.
This is like a very pretty girl dying her hair purple. You get enough attention on your merits, why go begging for more?
Putting out the Bush and Mayo fires is enough bad publicity. Right now the SC critics could probably find something wrong with Carroll going into South Central to combat poverty, so let's lie low until August practices.
P.S. Did you read the Mayo article in the L.A. Times this morning? Makes me feel more confident SC will come out of this clean. Mayo has always struck me as an upstanding guy, and remember, this was not some wide-eyed 18-year old freshman. He knew he would be getting millions in about one-year so why would he have sold out his family for a lousy $30 grand, as he put it.
I also liked how he did not diss Johnson and Guillory, both of whom have an axe to grind. And he spoke highly of Guillory (although he admits steering clear of him at the moment), which lends support to Coach Tim Floyd's courting Guillory.
Now, Coach is a salt of the earth type guy, I love the man, but Tim probably did make some judgment errors that I don't believe he will repeat. And at SC, with thousands of enemies just across town at UGLA watching our every step, not to mention the NCAA bulldogging Troy's every move, caution should be the watchword.
I'm sure Neuheisel has already has it burned onto a few dozen DVDs that will go out to recruits.
