As of this writing, combinations involving Vidal Hazelton are getting 85% of the vote. I can't disagree. My vote was for Vidal/Rojo because I think they're the two most talented WRs on the roster. I'm also interested in watching Damian Williams and Brandon Carswell. From what I hear, these guys have potential as well.

that's because there isn't any combo that doesn't include VH or PT... VH is the lesser of 2 evils

if there was a rojo/damian williams it would get 90% of the vote.

I think it's obvious that most people agree with what I have been saying...it's time to park Turner/hazelton and try some people who actually want to/can get open and catch the football. Turner has loafed through 3 years here and done squat, and hazelton is on the same plan..which is entitled "how much longer until the NFL combine?"

If I was coach I would retract their scholarships and tell them to hit the road, to be honest.

If we would of had decent WR's last year, we would of gone to the NC game. Our offene was "try a run, then 2 desperation dumps to Fred Davis". Oregon figured that out and beat us...same for Stanford. Double cover Fred Davis and the USC offense is done. Look at Booty's stats with DJ and SS vs. PT and VH...that's all you gotta do.

Garrett Green?

Let us not forget how Fred Davis was being described as a "bust," even into his third year at SC. And then he morphed into an All-American.

There is a lot of growth/maturity difference between 18 and 19 years old becoming 20 and 21 year olds. Add to that mix the fact that Sanchez probably throws a more catchable ball than the rifle-armed Bootie.

I say the jury is out on the boys, and I for one am holding out hope they come through this year, because they will be greatly needed with a developing offensive line (thus suspect running attack) and a basically new quarterback.

About Inside USC

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
