Gillespie's last four seasons were 28-28 (11-13), 24-32 (11-13), 41-22 (15-9) eliminated by NC Oregon St. in the super regional, and 25-33 (11-13).

Perhaps we should see what the next couple of seasons bring, Gillespie inherited a CWS team, SC hasn't seen Omaha since 01.
