Stewart Update
Lodrick Stewart claims he has witnesses to dispute he assaulted a Kansas student near a bar. He was arrested and charged last weekend.

Sounds to me like the guy said something bad to Stewart, and Stewart felt he was justified in hitting him. Wrong!
A good percentage of the world's problems and possibly as much as 30% of the prison population, could be reduced if our young men had tattooed in their brains that it is never justified to strike another human being (unless you have been struck first). And I don't care what they said about your momma or about your sexual preference!
Sounds to me like they were both drunk at a bar, things escalated, and Stewart, being an ex-NCAA athlete got the better of him. Should he have hit him? Who knows, if not in self-defense then he shouldn't have hit him. So we will see how this unfolds. I can say from experience that stuff like this happens more frequently at college bars than it is publicized. While Stewart's athleticism may have helped him in the fight, it ended up blowing up the story a lot more as well.
