The USC women are off to a better than expected start and are on pace to snap UCLA's domination in the meet led by Carol Rodriguez's school record in the 400 meters (51.39). The USC men trail by six points at the moment, but were hurt in the 100 when Matthew Palmer false started and were disqualfied.
UPDATED: Rodriguez, who said she hurt her hamstring Thursday, did not win the 200 in a blow to the Trojans and right now USC is only on pace for a 1-point win. The USC men swept the 400 hurdles and are also mounting a comeback.
UPDATED: USC wins the women's dual meet 86-77 to snap UCLA coach Jeanette Bolden's 73-0 record in dual meets while the men lost to the Bruins (89-74).

About Inside USC

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
