Walk-ongate Update

Another recruit just confirmed that UCLA coach Rick Neuheisel pushed the USC walk-on video for its negative connotations. It's now an official trend. The link to the video can be found on Monday's posts.

That's all Ricky's got? A video of the coaches using curse words with players? Wow, we're a lot better off than I thought.

I've got to admit that tactic smacks of desperation and should backfire. Brendan is hilarious in that video. Just shows how much fun our program is having while working hard.

Hilarious?

I guess if belittling kids (behind their backs to a camera) trying their hardest to make the suc football team is funny, laugh it up.

If you haven't figured it out by now, it isn't about the cursing. Rick could say "have you seen the suc walk-on video on youtube? Pete's kid sure is a douche bag!" but instead all he says "have you seen all the cursing in the alkon video?" and the kid watches it and comes to the conclusion that Brennan is a douche bag all on their own.

If that's all Ricky has, he's toast. I will say BC is not nearly as bad as Robinson's kid, but he's moving that direction. He needs to remember he's the coach's kid and he's here to learn. I don't think Pete would put up with it if it wasn't his kid. I wouldn't.

Your argument may actually have an ounce of validity if it didn't require vulgarity for you to make it. And by extension of your logic, would it be fair to conclude that you are a foul-mouthed neanderthal based simply on your posts?

I think your also forgetting that playing football for the USC Trojans is an earned honor and a privilege not bestowed. Whereas the requirements to play for ucla require 1) a taxpayer funded education (feel free to say thank you at anytime); 2) low self-esteem and 3) two intact ACLs (perhaps one if you are a QB).

Maybe you can pass this video on to Rick to show his walk-on recruits

I can hear the conversation now ...

Neuheisel: "Hey kid, come here - wanna see this X-rated video? Guys are cussed out at USC football practice! Why would you wanna go there when you can come here and we will treat you nice?"

Recruit: "Uh, coach, I mean, thanks for the offer, but I want to win the Pac-10 championship every year, go to the Rose Bowl or the BCS Championship Game ... I mean, playing in the Porta Potty Toilet Bowl just isn't good enough Coach Neuheisel. And by the way, thanks for all the free goodies and stuff you gave me and my family ... don't worry, I won't tell the NCAA Investigations Team that was at my house earlier today, asking about you ..."

Lmao @ trojies running NCAA smack.

How many seasons worth of games are you going to have to forfeit due to Bush-gate?

Tick Tick Tick Tick... That is the sound of time running out of time on then University of Subpoenaed Coaches

Trojan_SF's comments about 'Nachos' vulgarity is right-on-- the mark of an ugly and ignorant man. But 'Nachos' has posted elsewhere that he thinks he is a lot smarter than SC people. Would have fooled me, unless the monikor 'Dohn Eats Nachos' has some esoteric meaning. And is "suc" the best the ugla can come up with?-- Amazing.

It would be a good tactic if Rick is trying to steal away walk-ons. Shi* the students curse more than what is on that tape.

LAWYER JOHN said:

I guess the highest form of flattery is imitation or over-worrying about your opponent. You think ugla thinks too much about the Trojans and what they are up to?

Did anybody else catch Brennan's best line (yes, there were times he was funny). On one aborted pass-catch attempt, he plaintively said, "Montana to Rice that wasn't."
