American Football
I know what a celebrity suck-up Caesar is, so I've started a campaign to get David Beckham to a USC football game this season.
``It's one of the things I want to do at some point,'' Beckham told me. ``I will go to an American football game.''
This reminds me of a great running gag on Conan O'Brien one year. Every night, Conan would go on about how much he loved the movie "Dirty Dancing" and started a campaign to get it re-released. Of course the re-release had already been planned but that didn't keep Conan from going on about it nightly and taking credit when it was back in the theater.
As an added bonus, a day after Dirty Dancing hit the theaters, Conan tore it up on his show.
It was a hilarious bit and is a great one for Scott Wolf to steal. Wolf isn't as funny as Conan and most regular readers of this board already know he hates Beckham but it might be worth a laugh.
Hey, I have no problem with Beckham trolling the SC sidelines, I just want to know if "Mrs. Posh" will be there too. Fight On!
Bloody hell, Becks! Bring your blokes and come on down to watch the best yank football in LA. Afterwards, go hang out with your new mates for some pints at the 9-0 pub.
