The topic of the Song Girls seems to have taken on a life of its own in the comments section. With that in mind, if you have a comment, please refrain from negative adjectives about physical appearance, etc., that can easily be avoided while still discussing the subject.
I refuse to practice censorship when it comes to the topics discussed. And believe me, there are some trying to force that right now. So if you want to discuss the Song Girls, football or anything else, feel free to do so. Just try to keep it constructive.

This crap about song girls is the reasons I hardly frequent this site now. Let's keep it to football and some basketball. If you want to talk girls call your buds or go to a bar and get some. Don't go on a sports blog.

You know, Scott, this has taken on a life of its own largely due to your actions. Posting pictures of young women is only appealing to the prurient interests of many of your bloggers, so you will be getting the lowest denominator of male comments as a result.
When I am at a game I hardly notice the song girls. I am there for the game. I cannot believe how this has become such a big deal, whether they are cute or not. I only care if the women in my personal life are cute.
Blah, blah, blah, I'm Lawyer John. Blah, blah, blah, If she's not a 10 1/2 I won't even look at a woman. Blah, blah, blah, I am better than everyone. Blah, blah, blah . . .
Sheesh, give it a rest.
I really can NOT believe the athletic department is really that upset over all of this. It just makes you that much more suspicious that there really are major improprieties going on in the squad that they don't want to leak or get out into the public.
And what right do they have to censor SW's blog?!?!?! The Song Girls are just not attractive. So if they're unhappy with public opinion going after the Song Girls, then obviously the squad is failing. The solution lies with the squad - not from this blog. There's some big idiots and overzealous people over there in the athletic dept. One of them must be in bed with the Song Girls.
Summer fb practice doesn't start for about 40 days. The coaching staff is on vaca. The SGs are the "face of the university and the ambassadors of goodwill". Trojan nation is in crisis! There is nothing more important to a true Trojan fan right now than investigating SG-gate. As each week goes by, we uncover more truths, 1/2 truths, rumors, and humourous inuendo, along with the occasional nasty insults. Welcome to the Internet. We are making progress. In the words of the presidential candidate for whom I am most definitely not voting, "We are the change we seek!" The guys a good speaker, I'll give him that. You've got to be kidding me!! Scott, you hypocritical @#$%! You started the whole thing about the "lower" standards, that all the current SG's are "ugly" and only got onto the squad through nepotism. How about some personal accountability, instead of continuing to hide in your mother's basement, playing dungeons and dragons, and bagging on co-eds who remain way out of your league.
Apparently an editor finally looked at Scott's blog and said WTF is going on here? He figured he was paying Scott to cover sports, not call 18 year old girls fat. There is zero chance Scott had some sort of ethical epiphany.
