Answer Monday!

If you have a question, there is still time to submit it in the Weekend Forum post (not here).

Q: What would be the point of complaining about the Song Girls to Michael Jackson when he is as much a part of the problem as anyone? Isn't much of the composition of the current Song Girls due to directives issued to the selection committee by Jackson?

A: Regular readers of this blog know my opinion of Michael Jackson. I mentioned him half-sarcastically, but then again, I don't think it would hurt if so many people are upset to let him know about it. Unfortunately, Don Ludwig is no longer the IM-REC director, so there's not really anyone to complain to in that department, until that position gets filled.

Q: Taking out the element of team accomplishments, which are due to the supporting cast, who do you think was the better overall player, Keyshawn Johnson or Reggie Bush?

A: It's an unfair comparison because Bush was a running back/receiver and able to influence defenses from so many different perspectives. Bush's speed also allowed him to turn any play into a potential touchdown. So it's hard to side against him.

Q: Do you think the TROJANS have the inside track on landing DE Devon Kennard, DT Corey Adams, and LB Manti Teo? Who in your opinion is PRIORITY NUMBER 1 of the remaining recruits?

A: They supposedly have been Kennard's leader for the past year, but that's really not worth a lot at the moment (until he commits). Te'o is open but keep an eye on UCLA because he is being recruited by fellow Hawaiian Norm Chow. Adams is also open right with USC a strong candidate although I hear Dennis Erickson's determined to get either him or Kennard.

About Inside USC

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
