Q: What, in your opinion, will be the RB rotation? Also, what position do you see Shoemate playing?
A: Joe McKnight, Stafon Johnson and C.J. Gable should be the main rotation with Broderick Green possible in short-yardage situations. D.J. Shoemate will probably be more of a pass-catching receiver initially or might even be used as a slotback.
Q: Are you sure that you do not want to reconsider your statement that these days the Song Girls are not viewed as geeks by the pretty and popular girls on campus? After all, did you know that the most recent squad even had an engineering major as a member? What's up with that?
A: Engineering? Really?
Q: Petros spent a few seasons as team captain. How was his performance as a leader?
A: I really don't remember since I refused to speak to him in those days. I'm sure he was well respected by some players, except the ones who said he drank Hater-ade.

Um... being smart doesn't mean you can't also be hot. That girl in the 1985 photo Scotty posted was an English lit major who attended Cambridge. So, I don't think too much intelligence is a problem. The truth is, to survive academically at USC these days, you can't be an idiot. Pretty much all of our girls are smart now.
yeah scott I got a Q, sorry I know I am late, so if you don't answer that's OK.
USC has now added JC transfer Fangupo who "could play right away", is toying with playing a 3-4 defense with Fili Moala, E. Griffen and Kyle Moore, and (as seen on some websites) is listing C. Tupou as at least a co-starter with Averill Spicer.
In other words, they don't seem to have too much confidence in A. Spicer.
what does Spicer think of all this?? He was a pretty big recruit in his own right.
BTW, the "www.wearesc.com" crowd thinks you lurk on their board under an assumed name and post all night.....HAHAHAHAHAH
It's like a big game they have going on there.. "is "TJTROJAN" REALLY scott wolf? I thought we figured "CSTORY" was really Scott Wolf...hahahahaha
English Lit is not a geek major; Engineering is. In fact, the only person who has claimed the reason the Song Girls are not as attractive as they once due to USC's increased academic standing has been the coach of the squad. Clearly that is a flawed argument if one looks at that 1985 Song Girl.
In reality, the current Song Girls are simply not attractive and academics have nothing to do with it. The selection committee are not doing their job so they try to blame it on academics.
I don't really care what major they are as long as they are attractive. But clearly, being attractive isn't the most important factor for the Song Girl Selection Committee anymore. It seems like they are taking some other factor when choosing girls and we have yet to really understand what it is. I'm just dumbfounded at how ridiculously pedestrian the squad has become this decade.
Might the results have a direct correlation with the quality, or lack thereof, of the applicants?
just asking!
