Phil Jackson clearly won't be challenging the Emperor of L.A. after last night's Lakers collapse.

I now know how my interest in SC compares with my interest in the Lakers. Mind you, I am a big Lakers' fan. However, I turned the "slaughter" off at halftime, not wanting to see a boring one-sided game, and my first news that the Lake lost was on this site earlier this morning. My reaction?-- You're kidding me. My feelings after thinking it over for a moment? Oh, well, there is always next year.
My reaction when SC loses a football game? Depression for nearly a week, and I am never depressed otherwise.
Conclusion: I like the Lake very much, but when it comes to sports there is nothing like SC.

I totally agree. After a SC loss, I do not watch TV, read the newspaper, and especially read Scott's blog. It takes a few days to mentally recover.

The Lakers will never win the big ones with all those bRuins on their roster.
