Height and Weights, Part II
A couple weeks ago, an athletic dept. official attacked our accurate heights and weights on the quarterbacks and said we might not have accounted for ``bushy hair'' for height discrepancies between the media guide and actual measurements.
But playing along, maybe Davon Jefferson shaved his head last week. He is listed as 6-8 by USC but measured 6-5 1/4 at the NBA's pre-draft camp.

So Sanchez had a two inch afro? That's hilarious!
Why is Scott making this such a big deal. All schools do it. Beasley was just measured at 6-7 by the league when he was listed as 6-10 in college. Rose just lost 2 inches as well. Again another example of Scott manufacturing news.
I don't think Scott's making a big deal of it. Rather, he finds it curious that the athletic department is making such a big deal. These heights and weights are all BS, and everyone who needs to know understands this: the various pro leagues, other schools, everyone except the most voracious kool-aid drinkers.
Getting an accurate height or weight measurement of a collegiate athlete is like trying to get an accurate age of a Cuban baseball player. Its not rocket science nor is it ground breaking news that you have to take off or add on some inches/or weight to the athlete. Another fluff piece with it being a slow day on the SC beat. It seems that lately every entry made by SW is accompanied by a report that he's somehow ticked of someone or some group.
I am 5' 9" and 175 but was listed on the program at my HS at 5' 11" 200
It is just a thing in sports, not so important. IMO
Should Wolf be commenting on hair?
What Scott fails to mention is that he was embarrassed when it was revealed that USC took him behind the woodshed, took his lunch money away, and made him pinky swear to knock off the shoddy reportage.
What's worse is he falsely accused USC officials of leaking the details of his tongue-lashing to secondary outlets.
