Making The Grade, Part II
Last week's team GPA for the football team did not include Alfred Rowe, who was dismissed from the university. Rowe knew back in December he had an uphill climb to remain eligible and so did USC. He was unceremoniously deleted from the team roster without comment.
If you recall, I wrote two years ago that USC's incoming class contained a higher-than-usual number of academic risks. So far, two of those recruits, Rowe and Vincent Joseph, were dismissed.

SW, so with that being said and your "foresight", are you now saying that Trojans are lowering their standards to get some of these "stud" athletes? Now I thoroughly expect to hear from all of the bashers of Troy to come out and just nail USC to the wall about SW comment. However, for all of you that want to shots at USC, take a step back and look at universities, college and programs through out the US. Is USC working towards having the best student/athletes? Well if the dismissal of both Rowe and Joseph (and think back to the situation with Eric Wright), then it does appear that USC is trying to do the best for the university and its students, and student athletes. Fight On!
