`Ohio State's gonna slaughter the Trojans'
If you are a USC fan and a fan of right-wing radio host Hugh Hewitt, you might have a conflict with this controversial comment.
``By the way, I -- I'm still trying to find two tickets to the Ohio State-USC game. And none of the USC people will give up their tickets to me. I'd pay fair price. They -- they know Ohio State's gonna slaughter the Trojans. They know that they're gonna slaughter the Trojans, and therefore they do not want me there at the bloodbath, since it's probably the last football game we'll ever get to see before the United States gets blown up by the Islamists under Obama. I -- I would like to see Ohio State slaughter USC. This is what I'm living for right now. I'm keeping -- all the bad news, I just focus on the Ohio State upcoming slaughter of USC.''

OSU fans are nothing if not consistent: obnoxious, loud, lunatic.
Just another example of a guy hiding behind a microphone, thinking that he is bigger and more powerful than what he really is. All this moron is, is just another guy that was never picked for the team, because all he could do is carry a jock strap and a water bucket. If he so sure that Ohio St is going to wipe the Trojans, than why even go (because he knows that when that final score is posted, the Trojans will be walking off the field to “Conquest” and a victory over the “over-rated” Buckeyes). Fight On!
He predicted Bush would carry Ohio in 2004 over Kerry and he was right about that. Closer than many expected though. He's a good conservative, but lets all hope he is wrong about this forecast.
He is a confirmed idiot!
Wish he would bet his job on it, if he is so sure.
At least then he could get a life.
He won't bet though. Because he never really believes a word that he says.
I would say that this might motivate the trojans JUST a little bit, but lets be honest, if it were an Ohio St. player saying this, and not some chump radio host, the game would become much more intriguing. Point of it all is that PC is going to have the players minds so focused that all the smack talk won't mean a damn thing.
Sounds like the rantings of a klan membership card carrying, closed minded, right thinking bigot who believes that any American born with non-white skin should be a second class citizen who's lot in life is to provide cheap labor, sports entertainment, and laughs playing cartoon roles on tv and in the movies. I guess the motto of his followers is "Fear the Future, Return to the Past - Repeal the 13th, 14th 15th and 19th Amendments"... oh I guess I'm ranting from the left now... And for those really following the election, here's the latest map from realclearpolitics.com

I'm surprised Scott is linking to a known left wing hate site funded by billionaire George Soros that can't be trusted to quote anybody from Pete Carroll to Mother Teresa.
With that idiot Sanchez starting at quarterback, I'd say Hewitt is right one.
Funny how 'Vegas set SC as the favorite to win the national championship. Think they know something that the amateurs don't?
Also, SC gets home field advantage which adds up to 3 points or more. In an early season game when the offenses are not polished, this figures to be a close, low scoring affair in which the home team will have a decided emotional edge. OSU may have a slight physical advantage, however, with its experience.
I think the game is too close to call, so I guess they will have to play it.
This 10 second sound bite was taken totally out of context during a 2 hour rant about how Obama denies that there is a terrorist threat to the free democracies of the world, not just the US. While this line is hyperbole, it is the only point that generally is accurate..."the United States gets blown up by the Islamists under Obama". If the hippy, bleeding heart, anti-free market, socialist hippies have their way, Obama will set the US back 25 years and hasten China's advance to world supremacy and Iran's control of the Middle East. Hewitt's football comments don't bother me....just a passionate OSU fan mouthing off. I agree with LJohn that this game is too close to call. I give OSU the edge with a much more experienced line on both sides and early season lack of synchronicity, but the home court gives us a shot. I predict that we may lose this game, then run the table to a BCS championship.
I believe USC will win cause they are the better team.
Ohio St. is good, but not as good as USC.
I remember a lot of pre season predictions about games that never played out. Particularly after Carson Palmer left. Wait and see. Despite everything we have yet to see a PC team get "slaughtered" or even beat when they are focused, particularly after a 'trash-talking' moron like this one motivates them.
In many States around America, a huge majority of the citizens root for one college team. Hugh is from Ohio, where probably 90% of Ohioans cheer for the Buckeyes.
Meanwhile, even in Los Angeles, USC and UCLA honks probably only account for 50% of the fans.
Nationally, most people think in North Carolina the main rivals are Duke and UNC. The actual rivalry is between NC State and UNC. Except for alums and a few bandwagoners in the Durham area, most Carolinians hate Duke. Charlotte is a UNC town, which is why when Duke shows up there for 1st and 2nd round NCAA games the get soundly booed, or the underdog gets cheered for. Coach K would rather play in NJ, where most of the Blue Devil students are from anyways.
he predicted that SC would lose the last two Rose Bowls to the powerful Big 10.
Well LJ,
that 3 point home court advantage didn't help much with Stanford, and we both know OSU is not Standford.
OSU has to put last years loss to LSU out of everyones mind in order to be considered for a BCS NC Game once again.
I'm a Trojan fan; however, I'm in touch with reality.
No matter who starts at QB, the Trojans have a questionable offense.
