What the f**k is "The Mtn."? Is this Tom Hansen's last celebrated deal for the conference before retiring to the Rose garden?
But Versus is in 3D or TD or HD or whatever the kids watch on their GameBoys these days. And some of the local cable companies will move it into the HD lineup the day of the game, like Cox did last year. The only thing that made that game watchable at the end was being able to see that tight spiral make its way to the Stanford receiver's hands in 1080i.
P.S. Scott, thanks for the answer about Jeff Byers. I hear from a family friend that he is a very intelligent and focussed guy and will make a solid leader on that line. It's no surprise that he was so versatile last year when everyone else was banged up and they were trying to find a group that would work.
