The first day of the elite prospects camp concluded and the most impressive player might be Tim McDonald Jr. of Fresno Edison. He looked even bigger than his listed size (6-1, 183) and made a lot of plays on Day 1.

It must be the Fresno water. Did anyone see the Fresno State Baseball team win the College World Series today? Brings stark contrast to SC's baseball program, which, as they mentioned on the telecast, has won eight National Championships since '67. (by far the most)
SC needs to figure out how to fix that problem and get back into National Title contention.

I watched the game! RF Steve Detwiler gave a hitting clinic with a torn ligament in his left thumb. P Steve Wilson looked like a crafty impressive southpaw who allowed the potent GA line-up ONE run in eight ins. USC needs to get rid of Krueter...
BTW Barry Zito pitched a decent game last night allowing one Run in 7 2/3 ins.!
TMac Jr, future all-american, 1st round pick! Can't wait to se you on the field Timmy Two.

His father a former Trojan DB was also a Pro Bowler with both the Cardinals and the 49ers. He was a member of the last 49er Super Bowl winning team(1995)!
