Any time a question involves Beano Cook, it deserves special attention.

Q: When Beano Cook is praising the USC Song Girls and what they represent, is he honestly referring to the current or recent squads, or reminiscing about the great squads from yesteryear that are long-since gone? Do you know if he has seen the Oregon cheerleaders and what he thinks of them?

A: When I have spoken to Beano, he is referring to his own memories of the song girls, which dates back to the 1970's. He really is referring to those times, not the present time, which I know will shock many of you who have been commenting so much lately. And I do not think he has seen the Oregon cheerleaders.
