The Small Idea
Did anyone catch Caesar on ``The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch'' on CNBC? Probably not. The show had just 114,000 viewers in May, "which meant it got no Nielsen ratings, since it fell below the threshold of 122,000 viewers needed to even register,'' according to the ratings service. Of course, that's better ratings than Trojan TV.

So, Scott, I guess what you're saying is that Pete's boring and that nobody is interested in watching a program that he's involved with. Now you're blaming him for the downfall of CNBC! You are a piece of work, man.
it's also about 10,000 times better ratings than this blog entry.
"it's also about 10,000 times better ratings than this blog entry." - LOL Only more pictures of Song Girls will help!!
Damn I missed it. I love that show and catch it a couple times a week. Scott, why didn't you tell us beforehand? That's why I read your blog and not The New York Times, so I can find out about these things before they happen. You'd think Caesar would YouTube it onto his site or something.
The L.A. Daily news has a circulation of 187,740, making it 69th out of 100 newspapers and behind such journalistic powerhouses as the Riverside P.E. (68), The Buffalo News (45) and Orange County Register (32).
L.A. Times circulation is 1,231,318.
Way to go Scott, at least you beat the San Gabriel Valley Tribune, La Opinion and the Montebello Comet.

The LA Daily News is part of a bigger chain of newspapers that includes the Long Beach Press-Telegram and Daily Breeze, among a few others. As such, the circulation is actually much larger than what you quoted. You have to factor in all the newspapers in the chain and then you get a much more accurate number of readers of a printed article. Also factor in internet readers and the number is even more.
Just a little research goes a long way...
