Long Shot

O.J. Mayo made a three-quarters court shot from 69 feet to beat the first-quarter buzzer in his Summer League game on Monday.
"I thought it wasn't going to make it to the rim," Mayo told the Associated Press. "I was surprised. After practices recently, we have been practicing half-court shots. I made a few there, and now I made one in a game."
Good thing Mayo made it or he would have gone 4 for 17 from the field.

Whew! For a second there Scotty I thought you were going to make it through one whole post without slamming SC or one of its student athletes.

Zing.

Way to take another unsolicited swipe at one of USC's own Scott. I'm nothing if not proud of you. You are the man!! Reporting like this shows that your integrity is not for sale at any price.

Hey Scott, did you hear the rumor that some of the graduating football players didn't get drafted by the NFL last year? How big of a loser do you have to be, huh?!? I wait with bated breath for your article...you are so good.
