Morning Buzz
A couple readers noticed ESPN.com took note of the Song Girl controversy on this blog. This is definitely not going to make some people happy.

About Inside USC
Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC
graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for
the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet
message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this
moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in
antagonizing the "Internet geeks."

Maybe the national embarrassment of our canine corp will move Sample to action.
I'm sorry, Scott, but they've had it coming. A decade of corruption and nepotism has completely destroyed a beloved institution and erased a great legacy.
The problem and the solution lies within the Song Girl program.
The crazy thing is that on the same ESPN page also has links to two breaking USC sports stories that Wolf has yet to post.
I'm sure some people will argue if the USC basketball news is good but would probably feel good about the Thomas Williams story.
Scott doesn't do real news.
Scott I think you are worse than people at TMZ..
On one of the slowest days of the sports calendar with very few things to report on, SW's groundbreaking coverage on the topic makes it on ESPN.com's daily blog section. Maybe one day it will make it on the ESPN.com homepage or even their college football section homepage or better yet on Southern Cal's page. Oh the possibilities!
Hey by the way, the 49ers reached an agreement with Chilo Rachal. Congrats to Chilo and good luck in the league. Here's to hoping you represent the school well!
At least it made you happy. Maybe you could donate some money to the Band so they can do the upgrade on the Song Girls you think they need. You can use the money you didn't donate for the Galen Center.
Took note? In-depth, insightful, behind the scenes, unprecedented access blogs like Scott's that constantly have their finger on the pulse of their subjects are the very lifeblood of the mainstream media these days. The MSM no longer cover stories, they cover blogs that cover the real stories. Great scoop, ESPN, about 3 months into the blog eruption and 10 years into the SG-gate scandal. Sorry SC admin, the truth hurts. Trust me, I bleed cardinal and gold as a 2nd generation Trojan, and I hurt more than you.
